What is the most attractive thing?

Throughout our society, there is a constant battle for attention. Every person wonders what the most attractive thing they can do is. Often we change our hair, style, or humor to get more attention. Yet we concern ourselves so much with gaining the favor of others, that we forget our innermost meaningful qualities. After all, the most attractive thing we can do is work on ourselves. 

This sounds crazy, but it’s true. Wouldn’t you be the most attracted to your partner when they are focusing on becoming their best self. We can never be 100% there for others, until we are 100% there for ourselves. Putting in the work to be healthy, strong, and happy is absolutely the most attractive thing we can do. 

What makes it so attractive? 

There is no one reason to explain why taking care of yourself is the most attractive thing. However, it is quite simple. By taking care of yourself you show that you can take care of others, and the priorities in your life. Staying on top of therapy and your emotions shows bravery and responsibility. In the same way, being in tune with your emotions shows your ability to empathize. 

All of these things are amazing qualities that combine to create a very attractive person. It’s time to stop focusing so much on the material things, and more on the meaningful. It’s better to find attraction in quality rather than quantity, especially when looking for a partner. 

How to work on yourself!

There are many ways to try and better yourself. Some of them require digging deep down, while others just require you to look in the mirror. Despite how simple or complex, every step in working on yourself is important. The most attractive thing is when you do your best to achieve all of them!

In order to help you achieve your best self, I have gathered 5 ways to help work on you. All of these will take time to master, but they each have their benefits. Do you best to test them out, practice makes perfect!

Figure out your joy

Happiness comes from many places. But the number one source should be from within! Take the time to figure out what makes you happy. Find a good book, a new delicious food, or maybe go on a shopping spree. Treat yourself with the same interest as you would a future partner! After all you can only treat them well, if you treat yourself well. 

Find your peace

Oftentimes we can take everything around us for granted. We focus so much on the things that go wrong or what we wish we had. Instead try to find peace in what you have! A good practice for this is a gratitude list. All you have to do is journal down a few things you’re grateful for everyday, soon you’ll become so much more aware!

Face the reflection

This sounds simple, but it is easier said than done. A lot of us have issues with our reflection. After all, we’re only human. But the body you have is all yours! Take the time to become familiar and happy with the mirror. Everyone has imperfections and differences, it makes us unique. Do your best to see your differences as advantages and make friends with the reflection.

The sooner you are comfortable the sooner you can walk with confidence. The most attractive thing definitely includes strong confidence!

Treat yourself

Practicing all of these things is not for the faint of heart. In order to keep yourself from giving up, try treating yourself! Reinforce good habits like a gratitude list or journaling with a treat. This can be as small as an ice cream or as big as a rest day. It’s all up to you! Treating yourself is a big step to finding your worth and celebrating the small things. These qualities can be very helpful in future relationships too!

Try therapy 

Lots of people are afraid of therapy. But there is nothing to fear! Reaching out and truly fixing your problems is 100% the most attractive thing. This allows you to heal and be comfortable in your own skin. It can also help you be prepared to mingle and speak to others without any old issues getting in the way! Fly free from the past and find your peace! 

All of these things are simple yet effective ways to work on yourself. Simple, of course, is not the same as easy. Working out your emotional muscles can be tough, but will all be worth it in the end. Take your time to practice each of these and wait for the big results. Combined, this can all help you achieve your most attractive self. Which in other words is just your most healthy, happy, and comfortable self.
