Part-time Seminars and Programs Coordinator

SignShine®, an internationally acknowledged, growing parenting/ educational company, is seeking part-time Seminars and Programs Coordinator intern, with coordinating and marketing experience to expand, coordinate, and promote our seminars and programs division nationally. Intern will:
- Book workshops and seminars at Early Childhood Centers, and educational organization.
- Submit proposals and book seminars and conferences nationally and internationally.
- Research and establish relationships with national and international educational organizations and centers.
- Create relationship which will educate organizations and centers on SignShine®’s work.
- Develop public relations and communications strategies increase community awareness.
- Write a monthly article in the subjects of communication.
- Participate SignShine® in social media.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of principles of project management.
- Must have strong and polished interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Creative, strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Responsible, organized, self-motivated and ethical.
- Some experience in one or two of these areas: management, marketing, or public relations experience.
- Working towards a degree in Arts in business, communication, marketing, social work or related disciplines.
- Highly organized and able to work well with others and work well with a team.
- Interested in research and thinking outside of the box.
- The ideal candidate will have previous Knowledge of basic ASL / Baby Sign Language and early childhood development (not a must).
- Has the passion to work with people.
- Motivated and works well independently.
Minimum Internship hours per week: 6 (max 10)
Start date: Immediately
This internship is for the length of minimum 6 months.
