Etel Leit It’s Valentine’s Day. ♥️ One of my favorite holidays, because it’s all about LoVe, (minus the hallmark). Instead of red roses 🌹 (If roses, only pink please!), 🧸 , and a musical card – Just get me a mirror! 🪞 Yes, a mirror- how vain I sound? And, this is precisely the most loving gift you can get your lover – a mirror.

Why a mirror? When we are in a committed vulnerable relationship, we allow our lover to truly get to know us. No masks, no inhibitions. 🥸 The good, the ugly, and the hidden. 💡 And you see it all – All that is beautiful in them, and all that is unpleasant; All the light in them, and all that is dark. You know the whole person, each yin has yang ☯️ When love is real, love is strong enough to love the other, despite all the flaws, limitations, and weaknesses. 🤯 But beyond that – true love, soulmate work is to help your partner work in their shit- Reflect back with patience. ✨ This is love. 💓

If I am with you only when you are happy, and I am not with you when you are sad, If I’m with you only when you’re successful, and I’m not with you when you’re struggling. I do not love you, I love only myself and I love only my pleasure.🤡 True love is an entirely different dimension. You fall in love with what exists in reality. Reality has flaws, but those flaws are growth challenges. ♥️ Every flaw is a challenge to transcend. And when two people love genuinely, in a non-transactional relationship, it’s not about what each one gets, but how they help each other grow. 🌳 They look at each other; They turn into mirrors to one other: they reflect each other. They help each other; They reinforce each other. 🪞🪞 Love is not only selfies in sunsets, and red roses on Valentine’s Day. Love is how you are willing to watch your reflection in the eyes of your lover and reflect back. 👑 Now, get your lover a mirror…. and if you’re a sweet valentine also a bouquet of flowers (just pink please 🌸😉).
