Headlines on every pop culture related site struck this week about Beyonce’s dramatic hair change. Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr were a few among the major social media sites that were filled with trends and Beyonce’s new short hair pictures.
Beyonce posted her new look to social media app Instagram earlier this week in which she appears gazing at herself in the mirrow in her new lighter and much shorter hair style, not looking at the camera. To me, it is no surprise that this change would come along in an iconic celebrity due to the recent trend in celebrities changing their look such as Miley Cyrus, who shocked the world by cutting all of her long iconic locks not too long ago. Nevertheless, Beyonce being, well… 
Beyonce, news had to rage.It is much obvious that the public obsession that these types celebrities have is what triggered themedia explosion. No wonder why the media has been successful in doing what it does. Beyonce’s power is not questionable when it comes to celebrity power and influence. Whether it is her flawless-fierce-on fire voice, or her perfect curvy body who every woman desires, Beyonce news will always make headlines and now her new hair cut is sure something to be on the lookout for and it is surely guarantee that it will be part of all of her upcoming interviews.

But what is Beyonce really trying to convey with her dramatic change 
all of the sudden?

      First, celebrities always want to be on top in headlines, and many critics may say that a haircut move serves for attention, a public stunt. If that is the case, due to the fact that the public notices every little move and change, a haircut would sure stir things up. Just to mention, when Justin Bieber cut his  famous “Bieber hair”, the world was filled with news, questions, and a new obsession for the “new Bieber” -He made headlines.
         Second, artists cannot be artist without a team and contract behind them. It would not be surprising that she had others to influence her decision making process in whether to cut her hair or not. Then again, Beyonce is a woman, and women are quite stubborn when it comes to messing with their own hair- that is private property to us.
         Third, the most believed reason that Beyonce might have made the decision would be just to try it. Changing one’s look may be a gateway to a new transition in their lives, a new beginning.
          
In summary, Beyonce looks stunning in whatever she is wearing and despite whatever the reason she cut her hair for, we know one thing: She is rocking her new do!
